Premier Training Academy

Providing a website with online booking system for a leading training provider

Who they are

Premier Training Academy represents a brand of high-quality training in various trade sectors such as electrical, plumbing and locksmithing. They offer dedicated training sessions where candidates get the opportunity to achieve industry recognised qualifications in their trade to help further their careers.

What the issue was

Premier Training Academy had an existing website, but it was not easy to update within the back-end and they were getting feedback that customers found it difficult to find and book courses. The design of the website was also dated and didn’t match that of the wider Premier Training Brand.

They therefore needed a redesigned website which would allow the courses that they offer to be uploaded and categorised easily. Key to this was a new online booking system, where customers could easily find course details and dates and be able to purchase them online.

The redesigned website also needed to be followed up with a series of email marketing campaigns which would focus on the courses offered and the centres which provide them.

How we helped

We first sat down and designed the new website, ensuring that the Premier Training brand was fully integrated throughout. Each trade is given a separate area where courses were advertised and each had its own colour scheme, which in turn makes it easier to navigate. Within each trade page, the courses are able to be filtered by factors such as location, accreditation and type, with an overall course search available on the top of the website throughout to enable easy navigation to the correct course for the customer. Each course is also tagged with the relevant trade in order to improve usability and the online checkout process was enabled to give a simple customer journey from finding the courses to booking onto them.

Following the website launch, we designed and built a series of email templates which supported the overall marketing campaign. These fell into two categories – emails where new and upcoming courses and their details were advertised, and a more generic newsletter which included elements such as discount vouchers, centre opening hours etc.

What happened next

Since its launch, the Premier Training Academy website has been incredibly successful, it has allowed customers to easily book onto courses and the Premier Training Academy staff to quickly and simply add new courses in the intuitive Content Management System (CMS). The email newsletter has a substantial amount of subscriptions, and this in turn has helped to drive sales.

“It’s been great to see the website of Premier Training Academy transformed from a relatively cumbersome and awkward system to one where customers can book onto courses with ease. We’re delighted that the work that we have done has contributed to growth for the company.’
